Lamborghini today at the Paris Motor show unveiled the Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Versace — a special edition version of the new LP640 Murcielago. Like the regular LP640, this car is powered by a 6.5-litre V12, longitudinally mounted behind the driver. The Versace edition features a customized all-white exterior and a matching white interior.

The Lamborghini Murciélago is a GT and supercar automobile made by Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. and designed by Luc Donckerwolke. It was introduced in 2002 as the successor to the Diablo. The body style is a two door, two seat coupé.

An open-top version called the Murciélago roadster was introduced in 2004 for the 2005 model year. The roadster features similar performance to the coupe with a more aggressive rear flank, as well as a considerably higher price tag.

The Murciélago sports a 6.2 L version of the legendary Lamborghini V12 engine, a six speed manual or six speed e-gear sequential gearbox and All Wheel Drive. It also has a rear spoiler that can be raised to an angle of 70 degrees, the side mirrors fold in to increase aerodynamics and side scoops that automatically open to the needed size to let in just the right amount of air needed to cool its engine.

In another Lamborghini tie-in, the bull was later presented as a gift to Don Antonio Miura, a noted breeder, and went on to sire a line of famous fighting bulls. Murciélago also means bat in Spanish, and a Murciélago roadster is featured briefly in the movie Batman Begins. The coupe's base price is US$ 273,000, which is US$90,000 more than its smaller sibling, the Lamborghini Gallardo.

The most daunting challenge for the first-time painter is understanding the various steps of the process: prep, primer, blocking, and the final spray job and detailing. Taken as a whole, it seems like an insurmountable hurdle, but each step by itself takes no more than a couple of days. Pacing yourself, you can get the job done in a reasonable amount of time if you have a plan and stick to it. Britney Breaks Out: Star Leaves Hospital 1-5-2008

Britney Spears in an ambulance after police were called to her Los Angeles home Thursday night.
Britney Spears was out of the hospital today, apparently cutting short what police said would be a 72-hour lockdown so her mental condition could be evaluated following a bizarre confrontation with officers at her Beverly Hills home on Thursday.
According to several celebrity Web sites, the pop star left the hospital early today and returned home. A reporter for PageSix.com wrote that Spears was "driving aimlessly" around her neighborhood in her white Mercedes shortly after her release. Hospital representatives refused to comment on the reports, but Dr. Phil McGraw told ETonline.com that he met with the troubled pop star this morning in her room at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where he found her packing her things after being released.
"My meeting with Britney and some of her family members this morning ... leaves me convinced more than ever that she is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention," he said. "We visited for about an hour before I walked with her to her car. I am very concerned for her."
While she was in the hospital on Friday, a California Court Commission on Friday gave her ex-husband Kevin Federline sole physical and legal custody of their children, 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James.
The suspension of Spears' visitation rights came after a three-hour standoff with police officers and bodyguards over the custody of her two sons on Thursday. The incident ended with Britney being rushed in an ambulance to Cedars Sinai, where she was put under the 72-hour lockdown.
"When police arrived at her house she was locked in a room with her son Jayden and they got through the door and put her on a gurney and took her out," People magazine senior editor Julie Dam said.
People magazine reported that she was taken against her will.
"According to California law if someone is seen as a danger to herself or to others they are put under this 72-hour lockdown and they are evaluated to see what their mental health is," Dam said.
Police were first called to Spears home when she refused to return her children to Federline after a court-monitored visit.
"It took two to three hours to resolve the conflict," Los Angeles police Officer Ana Aguirre told The Associated Press. "Police resolved the conflict... Both children were turned over to her ex-husband Kevin Federline for custody, and she was in fact taken to a local hospital for medical treatment."
